Oven Baked Chicken & Potatoes With Honey

Hey there, welcome to my blog! Today I’ll be showing you how to do one of my absolute favourite dishes โ€”ย Oven Baked Chicken & Potatoes with Honey. ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿฅ”๐Ÿฏ  

You can prepare this for lunch or dinner, it is super easy to make, and it tastes amazing!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2-3 Small Onions (Sliced)
  • 6 Medium Potatoes (Sliced)
  • 3-6 Chicken Thighs
  • 500ml Chicken Stock
  • Honey
  • Salt & Pepper
STEP 1
Wash the potatoes and cut them in round slices โ€” there’s no need to peel the potatoes. Make sure you don’t cut them too thin or too thick (approx. 5mm each slice). ๐Ÿฅ”๐Ÿฅ”๐Ÿฅ”

Peel the onions and cut them in slices. ๐Ÿง…
STEP 2
In a baking dish, create a layer with the onions. Make sure you spread them well. Add the sliced potatoes on top of the onions.
STEP 3
Place the chicken ๐Ÿ— on the bed of potatoes, pour 500ml of chicken stock and add honey over the chicken and potatoes. ๐Ÿ
STEP 4
Do you really think that’s enough? Add some more honey, and sprinkle some salt and pepper all-over that thang! ๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿง‚
STEP 5
Bake for 45 minutes, then turn the chicken around and season with more salt, pepper & honey ๐Ÿง‚๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€๐Ÿณ Bake for another 30 – 45 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked, and the potatoes at the top are a bit crispy.
STEP 6

After the food is ready, let it rest for approx. 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy! ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿด
